The SpeedySwab™ Rapid COVID-19 + Flu A&B Antigen Self-Test is designed as a lateral flow immunoassay to identify and distinguish protein antigens for SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B. It is approved for over-the-counter use at home, allowing individuals aged 14 and older to collect their own nasal swab samples or adults to collect nasal swabs for children aged 2 and older. The test is intended for individuals showing respiratory symptoms consistent with COVID-19 and should be used within the first five days of symptom onset, with testing conducted twice over three days, maintaining at least 48 hours between tests.
