VIDA is a global platform that brings together creatives and manufacturers from around the world to create unique, original apparel and accessories - on-demand, at mass-scale. A curator of creative voices, VIDA showcases Art x Fashion from New York to LA, Mumbai to Madrid, and Tokyo to Tel Aviv. Our designers include world-renowned artists from 150+ countries around the world and our manufacturers range from textile mills to cut & sew units across India, Turkey, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and more. We've launched over 2.5M unique products on our platform and have grown our business 10x+ year over year. Additionally, we've proudly partnered with the Museum of Modern Art, Cher, Steve Madden, and Iris Apfel, amongst others to launch exclusive collaborations.
Each of our products is custom-made, on-demand, and has a unique story - from the inspiration behind its design to the personal stories of our artists. For every product made, VIDA offers education and empowerment programs to our factory workers so they can build a better future for themselves and their families.
We closed a $10M round of investment in 2018 and are currently looking to develop our next-generation, highly curated shopping gallery experience, utilizing advancements in computer vision and machine learning, and re-imagine, evolve, and re-launch the VIDA brand in a big way.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As we get ready to launch our next-generation gallery shopping experience, with a new brand name and much-anticipated fanfare, we’re looking to hire a stellar Marketing executive to help lead the charge on all brand and marketing activities at VIDA.
This role will be responsible for accelerating our growth and helping us make a mark in the world. The ideal candidate would have the perfect blend of Performance and Growth Marketing as well as Brand Marketing. We’re a mission and story-driven company and a team of ambitious dreamers with deadlines. We’re looking for an exceptional, hands-on Marketing leader and executor to join our seasoned executive team and help us build the global brand and company that we’re proud to call our legacy.
The ideal candidate would have experience building digital brands - managing Brand Marketing, Marketing Communications, Content Marketing (Email, Social Media, Print), Storytelling, and PR - both at a strategy and day-to-day execution level. This role will have direct revenue responsibility working with a seasoned team of Performance Marketing and Partner Marketing leads as well as a small team of highly capable and motivated digital marketers.
- Owning and managing monthly & quarterly growth & revenue targets
- Managing all consumer and artist Marketing Email, Social Media, Print, and PR channels
- Supervising all consumer and artist Paid Marketing Channels, including Paid Facebook & Instagram, Paid Search, and more
- Supervising all Artist Acquisition & Growth initiatives, including possibly building out a sales channel
- Supervising all partnership opportunities, including brand partnerships, channels partnerships, and more
- Managing the launch of the new consumer brand
- Managing VIDA brand and storytelling, including our Social Impact story, with a growth and ROI mind-set
To be successful in this role, you will need to excel at not only driving real, quantitative business results but also poignant storytelling and brand marketing. The ideal candidate is a perfect blend between a diligent and process-oriented results-oriented marketer and a storyteller/brand builder.
Experience or interest in Design, Fashion, and Creative industries is highly desired. 12+ years of experience in Marketing with executive-level experience across large corporations as well as startups preferred.
